Our certifications and memberships evidence how we manage quality, safety and wellbeing across every engagement - from consultancy delivered on live operational sites to classroom and virtual training. ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 govern how we plan, deliver and review work, while our ISAGCA and ScotlandIS memberships keep our OT and cyber defence practice aligned with the wider industry.
Siker is a member of ISAGCA, a collaborative forum to advance cyber security awareness, education, readiness, and knowledge sharing. The objectives of ISAGCA include the acceleration and expansion of standards, certification, education programs, advocacy efforts, and thought leadership.
The NCSC Assured Training scheme is run by the UK’s technical authority and provides assurance that each certified course has been assessed against, and meets the requirements of, the UK’s Cyber Body of Knowledge (CyBoK) Knowledge areas. Siker currently has 2 courses from its ICS curriculum assured under the NCSC scheme.
Siker has gained ISO 9001:2015 certification through Citation, evidencing our commitment to develop and maintain our Products and Services to an exceptional internationally recognised standard.
Siker is a member of ScotlandIS, partners who support the wider digital transformation of business and society. Digital technologies underpin modern business and are critical to Scotland’s economic success. Siker and ScotlandIS work in partnership to develop digital technologies.
Siker is very proud to be a Corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security Professionals with many of our staff being individual members. This demonstrates our commitment to the professionalism of the staff and indeed, the IS industry.
Siker are proud to announce certification of ISO 45001:2018, the world’s first global health and safety management standard, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to staff and those with whom we work. The mental health and wellbeing of our staff is paramount to Siker. Complimenting ISO45001, is the achievement of ISO45003, with a focus on mental welfare.
Siker started delivering cyber security education in mid-2013, providing people with the right level of skills to perform their job and role securely. We recognised not everyone needs to be a security professional but most of the users of IT need to understand more about how they can become ‘professionally secure’. Organisations then understand how highly skilled staff become part of the first line of defence thus reducing the attack surface. Our Veterans are key to what we do, with their unique ability to recognise the breadth of the issues and possessing built-in Leadership and communication qualities.
Siker have been certified under the UK Government Cyber Essentials scheme, helping us to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrating our commitment to cyber security.
In addition to Cyber Essentials Siker have also been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus, the highest level under this scheme; achieved through a vigorous auditing and assessment process.
Siker currently has the ‘OT Security Practitioners course’ approved for inclusion into the SPE professional development scheme.
